Jennie Austin

Our Project Director

Jennie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design from Grand Valley State University. After working as an in-house Marketing Manager for five years, Jennie started working for Avalanche as a Project Coordinator in 2020. She discovered that project management was a great way to combine her deep-rooted desire to help people (as a true Enneagram 2) with her digital marketing expertise and skill of creating order from chaos.

Although she was born and raised in the Midwest, Jennie currently lives in Florida with her husband and two daughters. She loves taking her kids to the park or the beach, studying astrology, and cooking delicious vegan dishes.

What Does a Project Director Do?

As your go-to gal for all things SEO, the Project Director is responsible for making sure our clients are happy, informed, and in the loop on what is happening with the SEO strategy. The primary goal of our Project Director is to make the Avalanche Team feel like an extension of your marketing team.

We’re not all about unnecessary meetings, but sometimes, a quick chat is needed. Our Project Director will identify these situations and connect clients with specialists on the team to collaborate on a successful strategy.

The Project Director is the one who sets up projects in our management software so that everyone knows exactly what they need to do, and when. She helps our Strategy Director set timelines and request any other information or materials from clients as needed.

I have a cuddly and energetic Shih Tzu / Poodle mix named Milo! He loves helping me with “work” during the day.
