Today, I will provide a list you can use to make sure you’re investing in or working with the right SEO person/team that is capable of helping you deliver meaningful results to your organization.
If you don’t have these in your SEO strategy, then you likely don’t have an effective SEO strategy or any strategy at all.
Without a strategy, you won’t get results that are valuable to your business.

You don’t have a schedule that outlines what content will be updated or added to your existing site to help achieve specific keyword visibility.
(If you don’t have a schedule, what is being worked on?) - đźš© No way to connect the search to the sale.
You don’t have any way to connect search engine visibility to generating sales.
(If you don’t know what drives valuable outputs from SEO, you shouldn’t be making inputs into SEO.) - đźš© No education.
You aren’t continuously learning more about SEO from the person/team you are working with.
(The better you understand how it works for your business, the better the results.) - đźš© No teaching.
You aren’t consistently getting asked questions about your customer and your products/solutions from your SEO team.
(A good SEO team is insatiably fighting to help you produce the best experience available online for your audience.) - đźš© No additional impressions or clicks over time.
You’ve been working on SEO for 6-12 months and you don’t see changes and increases in the impressions and clicks your website pages are getting in search engines.
(If you’re working on effective SEO, you’ll make a lot of changes and additions to the website that will impact visibility.)
