Hi! I’m Deanna, the Content Lead at Avalanche Creative. I’m filling in for Lance this week while he is on parental leave.
“With SEO, you can make your website your top salesperson.” I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard Lance or others on our team say that. Still, like all cliches, we say it a lot because it’s true!
“Resilience” is another word I’ve been hearing a lot lately, whether in the news or on LinkedIn or even internally here at Avalanche. As Merriam-Webster puts it, resilience is “an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change.” All businesses want to know that, when unexpected change or misfortune befalls them, they’ll have the skills to adjust, adapt, and even excel in their new reality.
SEO can be an investment in your company’s resilience. With SEO, you can be confident your business will still reach its target customers no matter what changes come your way.

A look at the organic traffic of an optimized website from March 2020 to present.
Pandemic, war, inflation, recession—there are many, many, many external factors that can influence your business that are simply outside of your control. Good SEO allows you to continue to reach your audience and promote your products or services no matter what happens. Marketing budgets may tighten, customer profiles may change, but the work you do to optimize your website has a lasting impact.
With SEO, you can count on your “top salesperson” to always keep working—making your business more resilient in the process.
