On the last day of our retreat, the team spent an enjoyable and fulfilling morning volunteering at Kids’ Food Basket, a local West Michigan organization that provides sack suppers to children experiencing food insecurity.
The team split into two groups to package healthy snacks, such as sunflower seeds and pickles, that would later be put into lunch bags. Every time our team volunteers, we always have a great time and leave feeling like we have made a difference in our community. We look forward to volunteering again at our next retreat!
