I remember watching the Disney movie “The Prince of Egypt” when I was young.
There’s that scene that shows some of the plagues that Moses sent to Egypt.
Frogs are everywhere. 🐸
As the story goes, they were quite literally all over the place. You couldn’t walk without stepping on one. And when Moses asked Pharaoh when he wanted them gone his reply was simply, “Tomorrow.”
Why in the world would he spend another night with this massive problem when he has a solution available right now!?
From our perspective, this seems so obvious.
Yet I’m sure we all “live with the frogs” in moments in our lives.
We accept our current unfortunate circumstances as the norm when there is a simple solution right in front of us.
Sometimes it’s not so obvious as millions of frogs hopping around.
But every problem has a solution.
What Does This Have to Do With Marketing?
Marketing success is never realized when there is any apathy or inaction.
You can’t improve your current circumstances if you aren’t taking action – removing the things in your way that make more ideal outcomes possible.
