Today, I’m asking you some important questions to help you more effectively achieve marketing success in 2022.
It’s the first full week of December, so if you’re like me (and I know I am), then you are starting to dream about 2022 as you reflect on 2021.
I’ve got some important questions to ask you that you should be considering for your 2022 marketing.
- What worked in 2021?
Take an outcome-based view of your marketing and identify what activities you continued to do, started, or optimized that led to valuable business outcomes or at least show promise. Don’t just look at what activities absolutely crushed it, but what did you make progress in? Marketing success is a long-term game. In view of all that – get clarity on what you should be doing for 2022. - Do you have goals without a strategy?
Do you want more revenue, more leads, more employees? Without a strategy, you are making a wish, and wishes don’t come true in marketing. A strategy will provide clarity on what activities you’ll do to achieve your goals. Ideally, based on evidence and confidence that it will work. - What content are you going to create and why?
If you aren’t creating content, are you even marketing in 2022? (no, in my opinion). Content is a dense word and means a lot to different people. Yes, you should create content, but most people create it without a plan to measure its impact on revenue. This is literally what we do at Avalanche Creative:
– We create a spreadsheet of evidence-based, prioritized content.
– When that content gets published, it gets audited for results.
– Results help inform adjustments to the content strategy.
– The cycle repeats itself.
Get To Work
Thinking about doing the thing is almost always harder work than just doing the thing.
If you’re thinking about ways to get results from marketing, then take action RIGHT NOW.
That could be starting to answer any of the above questions.
Do you want help answering these questions?
Honestly, we know we can’t help everyone. In fact, less than 20% of the people we talk to are a good fit for us. But, we love to help people take action towards getting results.
If you want help, fill out this form and we’ll schedule a conversation only if we think we can help you (based upon what you say in the form).
The form takes 93 seconds or less to complete.
