Free, Cheap, Unlimited… Don’t Sleep on These Terms

These words, and many others like them, are often pre-pended or post-pended to Google searches.
While many marketers are often wary of the types of customers that explore and evaluate products and services with an arrangement of these words, they aren’t all bad.
Sometimes these people simply don’t have all the facts.
The “Unlimited Text Marketing Plans” Example
I’ve been working on some SEO strategies for TextSpot recently and found that a lot of people search for unlimited text marketing plans.
Our platform doesn’t offer fixed-price unlimited text messages.
In fact, there aren’t any platforms that do because it’s not feasible in the industry to offer truly unlimited messages.
I could just simply ignore these keywords and not write about them since we can’t offer what the searchers are looking for.
But I’m choosing to inform and educate the people motivated to search for unlimited plans.
Many of these searchers don’t understand why it doesn’t exist and I want TextSpot to be the one that helps them understand why. It’s at the moment of new, factual information that many will decide to try our platform.
Don’t Ignore the Uninformed
Don’t sleep on the people that are searching with words that scare you or may seem irrelevant to your product/service.
Behind every single search is a unique human. You do not know what they know and therefore should assume nothing.
You never know if your next best customer will come from a “free” motivated search.
