Lance here. Today, I’m showing you how you can get more clicks from Google by having ChatGPT analyze your website title tags.

But first, a quick update: I’m giving these emails a new structure I think you’ll love.

Don’t worry, my bad dad jokes and personality aren’t going anywhere.

Each week, I’ll break things down like this:

1. Activity – The input or action you take.
2. Output – What the activities produce when complete.
3. Outcome – The result you’re after from the output.

Example: You write content (activity) → publish a new web page (output) → generate leads (outcome).

Sometimes, it helps to start with the outcome you want and reverse-engineer the steps. So that’s what I did this week:

📈 Outcome

More traffic and conversions to a large set of website location pages.

📝 Output

A fresh audit of title tags. The current ones were inconsistent and underutilizing their 60-character limit. That real estate is valuable; title tags affect rankings and click-through rate.

The goal? A data-backed title tag template applied across 100+ pages for better consistency and visibility.

🏃 Activity

I exported keyword data (clicks + impressions) from Google Search Console for all location pages YTD.

Then I gave this prompt to ChatGPT:

“I have an export from Google Search Console with queries including clicks and impressions. I need a spreadsheet and visual chart of the most common words based on clicks and impressions.”

ChatGPT surfaced the most common words across all queries – helping me prioritize which terms to lead with in our new title tag structure. Here’s what it looked like:
