You can’t get leads from a website without a website, so you need one that can easily be managed and is positioned for growth – we like WordPress. - Ability to Measure Results
You can’t improve what you don’t measure so before you go up the hierarchy and start working on other things, you need to track the outcomes you’re looking for an develop a reporting system. - Website is Crawled & Indexed
If your site isn’t confirmed to be able to show up in search engines, you’ll never get leads. This can be easy, but it can get complex with large sites. - Great Content
If you actually want to show up for the right keywords, you need great written and visual content that matches the needs of the searcher better than anyone else (ideally). - Great User Experience
That content shouldn’t look messy, be hard to navigate, and take a long time to load. Optimize the overall website experience as you add to it and test new things over time. - Share-worthy Content
Create content that people feel compelled to link to or share and it will help solidify your brand’s authority on your topics. - Optimized Assets
If you’re spending the appropriate amount of time and resources in the other areas, you’ll have a lot of assets to optimize over time.
The work is never over and you can spend months or years in some sections. As your business evolves you may even go back down and work on multiple sections at once.
