Stephanie Traylor
Our Content Strategist
Stephanie has 2 years of marketing agency experience and 10 years of professional copywriting and copyediting experience. She has 20 total years of writing experience if you count professional and personal projects. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English (Union University, Jackson TN) and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing (Lindenwood University, St. Charles MO).
Stephanie was never one to have a dream career in mind from an early age, so her professional life has taken many interesting twists and turns over the years. She initially worked in student services at a small university, and, after a stint as a real estate office agent coordinator and office manager, she decided she wanted to get back to her creative roots. She made the jump to marketing in 2022 and quickly discovered she loved copy and content writing more than social media, so switching entirely to content writing was a natural fit.
She also enjoys flexing her creative muscles with fiction and poetry writing. Her first book of poetry, The Cost of Things, is available on Amazon, and she regularly submits to Our Jackson Home, which is a local arts and culture magazine in her city that publishes quarterly magazines and thrice-yearly literary journals. When she’s not trying to make words happen, she enjoys baking, gardening, and what she calls “the spiritual practice of walking around and looking at stuff.”
What Does the Content Strategist Do?
In the process of writing for your business, our Content Strategist will become highly familiar with your industry and positioning. This is very helpful in supporting the content strategy that we’ve put in place to get results.
Our Content Strategist is a true writer’s writer! The vast majority of their time is spent writing content according to your brand’s voice and tone, as well as ensuring we’re understanding all the nuances associated with your product or service.
Before writing, the Content Strategist will do some research on the keywords we want to rank for, and who is currently ranking for those keywords. This helps them understand how to build a solid piece of content that has a research-driven foundation.
