Sandra has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish from Western Illinois University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She has over 10 years of writing experience in both journalism and marketing roles, writing everything from Google Ads copy to entire pillar pages on hyper-specific topics.

She has won multiple awards from the Illinois College Press Association and in-house writing competitions hosted by the Society of Professional Journalists. Moreover, she also was hand-selected to write a book about the former Mayor of Green Bay ahead of his retirement after 16 years of service.

She teaches English to Ukrainians on a volunteer basis to help them navigate essential services while displaced, as well as helping them feel confident in their speaking abilities for work.
