Jennie Austin
Our Account Director
Jennie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design from Grand Valley State University. After working as an in-house Marketing Manager for five years, Jennie started working for Avalanche as a Project Coordinator in 2020. She discovered that project management was a great way to combine her deep-rooted desire to help people (as a true Enneagram 2) with her digital marketing expertise and skill of creating order from chaos.
Although she was born and raised in the Midwest, Jennie currently lives in Florida with her husband and two daughters. She loves taking her kids to the park or the beach, studying astrology, and cooking delicious vegan dishes.
What Does the Account Director Do?
The Account Director leads, manages, and supports a cross-functional team known as a pod. They create a high-performance environment by removing obstacles, fostering collaboration, and making sure pod members are aligned, accountable, and continually growing in their roles.
They serve as the strategic lead for all clients in their pod—developing, guiding, and evolving SEO-focused strategies. By aligning client goals with data-driven tactics, they ensure every deliverable contributes to long-term success and measurable impact.
