Avalanche Creative joined Grace’s Table as a Friend of Hope sponsor for the 2026 Illuminate Hope Gala on October 7. Sales & Marketing Lead Keelie Owczarzak and Avalanche co-owner Rayanne Beaudry represented the Avalanche team at the event, which raised more than $137,000 for the organization.

A Night at the Art Museum

The gala took place at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, and art was at the center of the evening. Grace’s Table auctioned off pieces created by its mamas, giving them a direct hand in raising money for the community that supports them.

“Auctioning art made by the mamas was such a cool way to get them involved in the event,” Keelie said.

Three mamas who have been part of Grace’s Table for years shared how the organization shaped their lives and the close friendships they formed there; one is now studying mechanical engineering. Another story from the night that stuck with the Avalanche team was of one mama who showed up to CEO School while in early labor because the class meant that much to her.

About Grace’s Table

Grace’s Table supports teen and young moms in Grand Rapids as they move from isolation into community. The organization walks with these women “for miles, not minutes,” and many stay connected for years. Its programs include:

  • Open programs: Playgroup, Bible Study, CEO School, Free-Range Friday, and weekly family dinners.
  • Empowerment Groups: Peer support groups on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with a shared meal, childcare, and a structured conversation.
  • Residential program: Each mama works with a Family Advocate on goals in health and wellness, education, career, and financial literacy.

How Avalanche Got Involved

Avalanche’s connection to Grace’s Table goes back about a decade, when Lance worked on the organization’s website while a friend served on its board. The relationship picked up again when a fellow entrepreneur and friend of Rayanne’s joined the board.

“She kept inviting me to get involved,” Rayanne said. “I went to the gala last year, and we volunteered together this summer. This year, Avalanche got to be a sponsor.”
