SEO Title Tag

The title tag, also referred to as the meta title, is an important feature of a webpage in terms of SEO. This is one of the first things that users see when they look at your listing on the search engine results page. It also shows up as the title of your webpage’s tab in the browser. 

To encourage more visitors to your website from search, include a call-to-action in your title tag and/or your meta description. Google will only show a certain amount of characters, so keep your meta data within the following guidelines:

Meta title: 55-60 characters / 600 pixels

Meta description: 155-160 characters / 920 pixels

Meta titles and meta descriptions help your search engine optimization by improving your clickthrough rates and showing search engines that your content is valuable fulfills searcher intent.
